About mcanvil

mcanvil builds free Minecraft tools that stay correct as the game changes. Where other calculators were built once and left to rot, ours use versioned data from the open-source misode/mcmeta project — generated directly from Mojang’s own data generator — and publish a new active dataset only after integrity and regression checks pass.

mcanvil is operated by RealMatrix PTE LTD, Singapore. We publish our data sources, supported versions, verification approach and correction path so results can be checked instead of taken on trust.

How we keep the math honest

The enchantment calculator implements real Java and Bedrock Edition anvil mechanics and is verified against the Minecraft Wiki’s documented examples and an independent brute-force search across hundreds of random cases, so the “optimal order” it returns is provably the cheapest.
